WEEK 6- Dada:

An 'anti-art' movement which took place in the early 20th century. Dadaism was a reaction to the way in which photography had taken over as the medium for producing 'real' or true to life images. Prior knowledge on aesthetics and composition was deliberately ignored. Art works of this era often included text and the use of collage, it was very much abstract in style.
