...More to come. There has been another issue with the colours (inverted) in the first four pieces of work, I'm not sure how to fix this. The final music festival poster is actually included in a previous post, it would be better to refer to that as this copy does not look how it is supposed to.
The final versions of the 'silhouette' little red riding hoods (completed at the start of the semester) appear on my blog in earlier posts.
Still to be added are my final 'landscape of the absurd' and the earlier textured/coloured versions on little red riding hood.
Will be uploaded ASAP!

Progress: DESIGN #2

-The designs ae simplistic
-attempted to include typography that is 'modern'

-Exterior: Image of the ocean was used to imply a higher sea level, stilts were added for the same reason. The blinds/shades over the windows are solar panels. The windows are heavily tinted.

Interior: 'water-saver' tap featured. Contemporary tiling (glass bricks) and bright colour used in bathroom. The floor is polished concrete (as seen in research). An LCD screen is positioned on the wall, which is indicating water temperature. Again, windows are heavily tinted (due to apparent increase in temperature/sun).

Research continued..

I have been looking at modern fonts, what people consider to BE 'modern fonts' and what we could be expect to see in the future. Although serif fonts are still used often today, sans serif fonts seem to be considered more contemporary. This is an example I found:

It is basic, but features unusual/unique angles, which gives the font a 'quirky' feel.
